Audrey Baham

Mrs. Audrey Mae Garrett Baham passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at the age of 86 at Heritage Manor. She was born to George William Garrett Sr. and Martha Ann Brown. She was married to Richard Baham Sr. in 1946 and 10 children were born: Richard Baham Jr., Glen Baham, Maybelle Baham, Lindabelle Baham, Cinderella Wilks, Larry Baham, Malcolm Baham, Clay Baham, Martha Ann Camble and Robert Baham Sr.

She joined Greater Payne A.M.E. Church at an early age. Brother Richard Sr. and Sister Audrey joined the Evangelical Church of God in Christ in Folsom, along with their children, under the leadership of the late founder and pastor Bishop Edward Cyprian. They were also founders and the second pillars of the church. Sister Audrey was the head of the usher board for 10 years and she served faithfully with a smile and she worked with the Mission Department and Pastor’s Aide.

She leaves to cherish her memories: eight children, Richard S. Baham of Houston, Texas, Deacon Glen M. Baham Sr., and Maybelle Baham of Tampa, Fla., and Malcolm Baham (Chevelle) of Atlanta, Ga., Linda B. Hill, and Cinderella Wilks (John), from Milwaukee, Wis., Larry N. Baham and Martha Baham Camble (Randy), both of Folsom; one loving sister, Mrs. Rosie Laurant of Covington; two brothers-in-law; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces, along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George William Garrett Sr. and Martha Ann Brown; and two sons, Clay and Robert Baham.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holmeville Baptist Church, located at 123346 Hay Hollow Road in Folsom. Funeral services will follow.
