Funeral services for Sharron Lee Wallace, 66, of Franklinton, formerly of Vidalia, a home health caregiver, will be Saturday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, with the Rev. Ed Mulkey officiating. Visitation was Friday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chase Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Sharron was born to the union of her parents Elmer and Ola Lee Smith on March 5, 1951, in Gateswood, Ala., and passed from this life on Dec. 12, 2017, at her residence. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. As a caregiver, she loved people and her job.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Beth Bria; and brother-in-law, Gene Chadwell; two sister-in-laws, Vicky Wallace and Brenda Jenkins.

Sharron is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Wallace of Franklinton; four daughters, Shannon Messina, of Covington, Tonya Buras and husband Cash of Bogalusa, Tina Lebouf of Franklinton, Heather Evans and husband Michael of Covington; five sisters, Carolyn Chadwell of Oklahoma, Milinda “Pug” Nations of Vidalia, Vickie Mann and husband Kenny of Pollock, Margaret Leake and husband Cliff of Alexandria, Cindy Bruce and husband Mark of Vidalia; three brothers, J.W. Smith of South Louisiana, Robert Smith and wife Darlene of Vidalia, Billy Smith and wife Nelda of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Keith Nations, Dakota Nations, Nathan Nations, Michael Evans, Bootsie Smith and Freddie Smith.
