James Hall, public works director for the city of Bogalusa, said Wednesday that the city’s Richardson Town Area Water project is at the point where the city and the contractor will be making tie ins to the newly replaced water lines.

This means that for the next several months there will be times when the water will be off from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Hall said.

The area that will be affected is from Columbia Street going west to Main Street, and then from Long Avenue going north to North Avenue and the surrounding areas.
