The American Legion Magic City Post 24 invites all military veterans to its annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Breakfast at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Legion home.

Commander Bobby Latino said there would be a short program with a ceremony honoring the military men and women who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor.

“We’re going to have a rose in a vase, and a lemon on a saucer, and one chair in honor of the Pearl Harbor victims,” he said. “Whit Gallaspy will be the speaker, and I know he’s been researching Pearl Harbor.

“I want to invite all the veterans that served our country to come and honor the veterans of Pearl Harbor, the way all veterans should be honored.”

Latino added that the Bogalusa High School Jr. ROTC would also participate in the breakfast.
