The recipient from Franklinton was Ella Lott, and the Bogalusa recipient was David Kenny.

Each year, two recipients are chosen to receive these boxes by have their names selected in a drawing.

The donations include a turkey, a ham, canned goods and plenty more.

This is the third year that the class has given donations to the seniors from the Washington Parish Council on Aging.

Class president Lloyd Meekins and vice president Geraldine Robinson would like to thank Nancy McBeth, who is the executive director of the Washington Parish Council on Aging, for allowing the class to make these donations to the seniors each year.
