William Robert “Bobby” Bates, a resident of Bogalusa, 62, born on July 19, 1955, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017.

He is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Strait Bates; and his three sisters, Linda K. Bates McElveen, Joanne Bates Adams, and Barbara Bates Busby.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Bates Jr.
