Michael J. Kellar Sr., 69, a resident of Bogalusa, born June 21, 1948, passed away on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at University South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Kathie D. Kellar of Bogalusa and his son, Michael Joe Kellar Jr. of Bogalusa; two brothers, Richard A. Kellar of Bogalusa and Gerald W. Mizell of Bogalusa; and one sister, Pamela Helton of Bogalusa.

He is preceded in death by one son, Shad William Kellar; and his infant daughter, Toni Jo Kellar.

Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A private service will be held at a later date.
