Jonathan Mitchell “Johnny” Nicholson, 54, a resident of Bogalusa, born on Oct. 11, 1963 in Columbia, Miss., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Rest Haven Living Center in Bogalusa.

He is survived by a son, Yancy (Halley) Nicholson of Bogalusa; a granddaughter, Kierstyn Nicholson of Bogalusa; sister and brothers, Gavin Denham Nicholson Jr., Charles Eugene Nicholson, Patricia Gayle (Richard) Flynn, Paul Edward Nicholson, Timothy Harvey Nicholson, and Douglas Ray Nicholson; and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Creel; and his father, Gavin Denham Nicholson Sr.

Private services will be held at a later date.
