Bonnie Pierce

Bonnie Eugin Pierce passed in her sleep, at her home, Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Oscar Pierce.

Bonnie loved life. She loved to laugh, loudly. She enjoyed jumping in her motor home with her close friend, Norman Tengesdahl, and family, and heading out anywhere in the Smokey Mountains. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends, and to simply laugh and cut up.

Bonnie Faye is survived by her three sons and their families, the oldest, Donald and his wife Kristie Hall, Ronald Hall and Joshua Paul Pierce and his fiancée Robin. The crown jewels and joy of her life were her grandchildren, Devan Hall, Danielle Hall, Chantelle Hall, Hannah Hall, Joshua Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Abbygail Pierce, Lil Alliyana Pierce and Cheyenne.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at Palestine Baptist Church on Monday, Nov. 27. A private family viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9 a.m., and a public viewing will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. A service will follow that will be lead by grandson, Devan Hall.

The church is located at 59369 Palestine Church Road in Bogalusa.

Arrangements will be handled by Cook-Richmond Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
