Rayford Bickham Sr.

On Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at 6:30 a.m., the angel of death came and silently claimed the soul of the one we loved so dearly, Rayford U. Bickham. He was born on Dec. 5, 1948, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Iberville (Bernice) Bickham.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 10, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, located at 193 Dexter Road in Dexter, Miss., with the Rev. Reginal Russell, pastor, officiating, at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Dexter.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: two sons, Lenzie Watson of Bogalusa and Rayford (Dot) Bickham Jr.; one daughter, Sophia (Terrance) Robinson of Angie; godson, Bendrick Martin of Bogalusa; three brothers, Huey (Doris) Bickham of Angie, Ronnie (Doris) Pittman of Sandy Hook, Miss., and Iville Bickham of Columbia, Miss.; sisters, Pam Rivers of Mandeville, Susan (Alvin) Johnson of New Orleans, Ashley Price of Kentucky and Debra Allen of Tylertown, Miss.; sister-in-law, Edna E. Bickham of Angie; and grandchildren, Ella Bickham of Bogalusa, Adrian Bickham, Mia Harris and Michen Harris of Angie, and Christian Rishard Martin, Tayden D, Benne and Ta’liyah N. Martin of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Iberville Bickham; mother, Bernice Bickham; sisters, Geraldine Daniels, Claudia Guillard and Twanette Harry; and two brothers, Jimmie and Robert Bickham.
