Denzie “Mo” Wilson, born Sept. 12, 1931, departed this life at the age of 86 on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Heritage Manor in Franklinton. He joined the Bethel Church of Christ at an early age and he was also in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his four sons, Aaron Wilson of Newport, R.I., Calvan Wilson of Garner, N.C., Gary Wilson of Pawtucket, R.I. and Warren (Stevie) Wilson of Garner; three daughters, Selina Jones of Middletown, R.I., Patricia Carr of Garner, and Stephanie Connor of Providence, R.I.; one sister, Verlee Long of Franklinton; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, father, Myrah and mother, Rosa Wilson; one sister, Roxie Davis; and two daughters, Barbara and Tina Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Washington St. in Franklinton. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Jarvis Lee will officiate.
