Bogalusa Director of Parks and Recreation Landon Tims said Monday that Cassidy Park is now closed to vehicular traffic, in order to allow the annual installation of the Christmas light displays that will constitute “Christmas in the Park.”

“The park will be open for foot traffic only,” Tims said.

Cassidy Park will re-open to vehicles on Jan. 1.

Christmas in the Park will open on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23.
