Clayton Jackson

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:6-7).

Clayton Edward Jackson left this earthly life and transitioned to his period of eternal rest in Baton Rouge at 52 years of age. Clayton was born March 14, 1965, to the late Kathleen Dillon Jackson and Virgie J. Jackson in Bogalusa.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Virgie J. Jackson of Bogalusa; five brothers, Vernell (Lisa Jackson of Bogalusa, Virgil (Marilyn) Jackson of Bogalusa, Ricky Jackson of New Orleans, Donnie Jackson of New Orleans, and Benjamin (Regina) Jackson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two aunts, Bessie Brumfield of Bogalusa and Shirley Edna Dillon (Ray) Page of Milwaukee, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Dillon Jackson; and a brother, Colie Ray Jackson.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at Antioch Church of Christ Holiness, located at 1832 Dolly Ave. in Bogalusa, at 10:30 a.m. with pastor Brian Bradford officiating.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
