Michael Terry Summers, born Oct. 9, 1957, passed away peacefully at his residence on Oct. 26, 2017, at the age of 60. Michael was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Summers of Angie; two brothers, John Summers and his wife Kippy of New Orleans, and David Summers of Amite; a sister, Debbie Summers of Bogalusa; a close nephew, Seth Pigrenet; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, A.J. Summers.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 29, beginning at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., and will resume Monday, Oct. 30, after 8 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Brennon Gatewood, with the interment to follow in the Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
