Bobby Ray Anderson

Bobby Ray Anderson, 85, died at Rest Haven Living Center in Bogalusa on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017. He retired after 45 years as customer service manager from Temple-Inland. He was a very active member of Monroe Street Baptist Church where he served in many positions — deacon, committees, and taught Sunday school.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne Anderson of Bogalusa, and Neal (Mary) Anderson of Mandeville; grandchildren, Chris Anderson of Bogalusa, Jeffery (Liesel) Anderson of Anderson, S.C., and Michael Anderson of Davidson, N.C.; great-grandson, Nathan Anderson of Mandeville; his sister, Jackie Martin of Bogalusa; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Beverly Jean Kimball Anderson; his brother, Jerry Jack Anderson; his mother, Ozzie Robbins Anderson; his father, Hubert Jack Anderson; and his maternal grandparents, Mecie Breland Robbins, and Absolam Frank Robbins.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
