Saturday’s event helps raise money to buy equipment upgrades for the hospital, such as this abdominal probe.
The Our Lady of the Angels Hospital Foundation will hold its fundraising social — “An Evening with the Angels” — this Saturday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Home in Bogalusa.
Everyone is invited to join Our Lady of the Angels Foundation for heavy hors d’oeuvres, provided by area restaurants, an open bar, live music, live and silent auctions, and more. All proceeds help to enhance the exceptional service lines and innovation delivered at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital every day. Dr. Steven Ogden, Our Lady of the Angels Family Medicine Clinic at 617 Ave. F, will serve as the event’s auctioneer.
Tickets are $50 each and include an open bar, delicious local food and live music. In addition, tickets are available from any foundation member, and there are a limited number of tickets available at the Daily News’ office.
Over the past year, the foundation has reinvested these funds into the hospital by purchasing two EKG machines, an AccuVein vein finder, a bladder scanner, a pediatric and adult Vapotherm — heated high flow nasal cannula, and an abdominal probe.
