Tourney nets $76K

A group of 128 golfers representing 85 sponsors joined the International Paper Bogalusa Mill to raise $75,892 for the United Way of Southeast Louisiana and the Fund for Bogalusa in the mill’s fourth annual charity golf tournament Thursday, Oct. 12, at Money Hill in St. Tammany Parish.
“Our generous sponsors increased our proceeds $20,000 over what we raised last year,” said Bernie Chascin, mill manager. “Thank you to all of our mill vendors and contractors and other community partners who participated and made this event so successful for Washington Parish.”
The winning team was from Resource Bank. Members were Johnny Crain Jr., Tim Keller, Trip Keller and Jake Pritchard.
