Tom Warren

Tom Warren was called home at the age of 83 on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.

He was married in holy matrimony to the late Jerlean Bickham Warren. He was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and confessed a spiritual walk with Christ. He loved his pastor and spoke well and highly of him.

Tom loved to dress neatly and he loved his cows and farm. Tom was a skilled, hardworking businessman, and he was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerlean Warren; father and mother, Alfred Warren and Dora Burton Warren; one son, James Warren; nine sisters, Allie Mae Williams, Ruthie Mae Anders, Kizzie Cotton, Ada Burton, Dollie Sanders, Hynethia Graves, Margie Carney, Irabella Dillon and Smiley Warren Davis; three brothers, James Warren, Alfred Warren Jr., and Major Warren.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: two daughters, Chantell Burris of Franklinton, and Diamond Conerly of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Raymond (Mechell) Warren of McComb, Miss., and Christopher Burris of Franklinton; a sister, Carnell (Winzlo) Tate of Franklinton; grandchildren, Raymond R. Warren, Sherika Weary, Endia Badon and Makyra Tate; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Oct. 20, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at noon with the Rev. Johnny Causey Sr., pastor, officiating.
