Judith Brown

Judith Carol Brown, a resident of the Crossroads, Miss., community, passed away Friday Oct. 13, 2017, at her residence at the age of 71.

She is survived by a son, Robert Doyle Brown (Theresa Easterling) of Crossroads; one brother, Gary Bamburg (Jenny) of Columbia, La.; sisters, Gay Phillips (Kenny) of Ocean Springs, Miss., Beverly Bamburg (Wesley) of Ocean Springs, and Angelia Parham (Jeff) of West Monroe; grandchildren, Christy Lynn Magee Thomas (Nathan), Robert Brown II (Kari), Nevaeh Brown, Olivia Brown, Jonathan Corkern, Misty Corkern, Monica Stewart, Haley Harris and Amanda Harris; and five great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Sylvia Brown; brother-in-law, Harold (Barbara) Brown; brother-in-law, Daryl (Judy) Brown; and a special friend, Danise Dantin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Doyle Brown; daughter, Salina L. Brown Magee; parents, Robert and Alverne Bamburg; and brothers-in-law, Lorenzo “Taco” Parham and Grady Brown.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery at Crossroads. The Rev. Wayne Grant officiated.
