Thomas Edward Ghrigsby Jr. passed away Sept. 30, 2017, in Covington at the age of 53.

Tommy was born in Delhi on Aug. 29, 1964. He was the son of Thomas Ghrigsby Sr. and Sylvia Rabalais. He was employed at Lazer Spot in Bogalusa. Tommy went to Bogalusa First Church and loved the Lord. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and playing the drums. Tommy was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Rabalais; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and niece, Charla Cherrington.

Survivors include his father, Thomas Ghrigsby Sr.; his children, Jennifer Greenhagen and husband, Andy, Sylvia Nicole Ghrigsby, and Zachary Ghrigsby; his grandson, Brendan Ghrigsby; and his sisters, Charlotte Cherrington, Barbara Hodge and husband, Tony, Katherine Rundell, Beverly Fries, and Elizabeth (Janie) Ferguson and husband, David; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m., at the chapel at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation was from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in Faith Memorial Cemetery in Delhi.

Pallbearers were Tony Hodge, Max Morrow, David Ghrigsby Jr., Kenneth Dustin Rundell, Jonathan Rundell and Joey Ghrigsby, and the honorary pallbearer was Clifton Jobe.
