Gladys Myres

Gladys Shareca Myres was called home to our Lord at the age of 36 on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Jonathan Peters III of Bogalusa; one daughter, Janikkiya Peters of Bogalusa; her father, Willie Ray Alexander of Angie; five brothers, Lorenzo (Daisy) Myres of Bogalusa, Willie (Dhanya) Myres of Phoenix, Ariz., Lesley Myres of Pineville, Willie Peters of Angie, and Jonathan Myres of Bogalusa; two sisters, Misty Causey of Bogalusa and Martha Peters of Angie; a special friend, Carrie Alexander of Sandy Hook, Miss.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucinda Myres; and her grandparents, Lesley and Gladys Myres.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 64083 Sid Sam Road in Angie, at 11 a.m., with Elder. Leslie Fields officiating. Internment will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
