Patricia Russell

Patricia Kay Taylor Russell, 63, a resident of Slidell, passed away at her home on Sept. 13, 2017, surrounded by her family after a long fight with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gordon Russell of Slidell; and four daughters, Rebecca Williamson (Linda) of Slidell, Patricia Gill (Danny) of Slidell, Krystal Gormanous (Brett) of Bogalusa, and Pamela Welch (Scott) of Bogalusa. She is also survived by her mother, Fannie Taylor of Bogalusa; a sister, Lynn Freeman (William) of Bogalusa; and two brothers, Donald Taylor and Wade Taylor, both of Portland, Ore.; along with 17 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Taylor; a brother, Alan Taylor; and two sisters, Georgia James and Alice Fulton.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 14. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bogalusa.
