Donna Elaine Welch, 43, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. She was born on Jan. 28, 1974, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Katie Welch and Brandy Carroll; her son, Aaron Gabriel; her sister, Anita Thomas; three brothers; Jeff Smith, Richard Smith and Darrell Smith; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge W. Smith and Ollie E. Carrier Smith; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 57500 Knapp Thomas Road in Bogalusa, on Sunday, Sept. 10, with the Rev. Pete Underwood officiating.
