Cynthia Cotton Stevens, 54, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 3, at her home in Bogalusa. She was born on Aug. 1, 1963, in New Orleans.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Stevens; her daughter, Mandy and Chris Stafford; her stepson, Matthew and Ashley Stevens; her granddaughter, Presley Kate Stafford; her parents, Billy Ray and Mary Dean Cotton; sisters and brothers, Bobby Joe Cotton and wife, Christina Cotton, Billy Joe Cotton, Helen Cotton, Tina Cotton Jones and Michael A. Jones; and nieces, Kayla Cotton and Hailie Adams; nephews, Brandon Higginbotham, Stephen Jones, Tyler Jones, Blake Cotton and Reese Cotton.

She is preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald Anthony Stevens and Joan Lea Stevens; sister-in-law, Debra Lea Stevens; grandparents, Herde Fontenot and Louire May Fontenot, Lovic Cotton and Mandy Smith Cotton; and her first husband, Joe Ikerd.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Darren Uzel officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
