Ms. Mildred Elaine Hill, 74, a resident of Bogalusa, born on Dec. 19, 1942, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her three girls on Sept. 2, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rue J. Temples and Irene Miley Messina.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Ann Thompson of Bogalusa, Tonya (Brent) Goings of Franklinton, and Heather (Barry) Parker of Mansfield, Texas; her brother, Howard Hunt of Slidell; six grandchildren, Noel Thomas, Trevor Thompson, Peyton and Breyden Parker, Berkeley and Brecken Goings; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Ritchie, Braylan Thomas, Paislee Parker; and a special friend, Patrick “Sonny” Conques.

Visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 3, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel and continued on Monday, Sept. 4, from 11 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m., with the Rev. David Womack officiating. Entombment was held at the Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery.
