New hours at U.S. rep’s office

Satellite office hours conducted by the office of U.S. Rep. Ralph Abraham will be adjusted temporarily for Washington, Tangipahoa and St. Helena parishes, effective Monday, Aug. 21. The temporary schedule is as follows:

  • Washington Parish — From 10 a.m. until noon at the Sheriff Randy Seal substation at 302 Masonic Drive in Bogalusa; and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Franklinton City Hall at 301 11th Ave. in Franklinton, on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.
  • St. Helena and Tangipahoa parishes — From 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Tangipahoa Parish Government Office at 206 E. Mulberry St. in Amite; and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Sixth Ward VFD at 3924 Louisiana 38 in Kentwood, on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.

Caseworkers are available to assist constituents with issues involving federal agencies five days a week at the Northeast Louisiana District Office in Monroe and the Central Louisiana District Office in Alexandria. More information about casework issues can be found online at abraham.house.gov.

Regular satellite office hours in the aforementioned parishes will resume as soon as possible, but constituents are encouraged to reference this temporary schedule until further notice.
