On Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, God sent his angels to Biloxi, Miss., to claim the soul of Myranda Peters at the young age of 24. When God said it is done I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end.

She was born on May 5, 1993, to Patricia Peters and Robert James Whitlock in Biloxi. She came into this world with joy and was received in love by all who patiently awaited her arrival.

Myranda always walked in beauty. She was a kind, gentle, generous, and caring person, as well as good friend. She had a genuine love for her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music and singing.

Myranda graduated from Bogalusa High School in 2013, and also graduated from Northshore Technical College in Bogalusa, as a CNA. She was also a cheerleader in Bogalusa Jr. High School. She worked as a cashier at Food Depot.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Jaiden Jamal Peters; mother, Patricia Sampson Peters; brother, Victor Gerard (Keran) Peters; grandmother, Anna Louise “Mama Lou” Sampson; nephew, Victor Peters Jr., all of Bogalusa; fiancé, Rickey Pittman of New Orleans; godmother, Nora Augman; aunts, Toni Whitlock, Myra Magee, and Myrtis Robinson, of Biloxi; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert James Whitlock; grandfather, Andrew Sampson; and aunts, Gerdie Nell Harris and Audrey Sartin.

The visitation will be 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, with a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. to follow at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Greater Salter’s Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Lloyd Guy, pastor, officiating. The interment will be at Bogalusa Cemetery.
