Alfredia Smith

Alfredia Smith was called home to our Lord peacefully at her home Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She was born April 14, 1938, to the late Julius Smith and Luhana Jefferson Smith.

Sister Smith was a member of the Greater Center Baptist Church in Angie. She retired from the Bogalusa Medical Center as a cook.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Greater Center Baptist Church of Angie, followed by the funeral service at noon with the Rev. Sidney Jones, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in the Live Oak Cemetery in Angie.

Sister Smith’s memories will be cherished by her: three daughters, Ruth (Douglas) Hunt, Ernestine Smith and Tyronda S. Gilmore; two sons, Otis Smith and Roosevelt Smith; one sister, Lovie James; two brothers, Rev. Doyle (Daisy) Smith and Rev. Alvin (Pauline) Jefferson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sister Smith was preceded in death by her: parents, Julius and Luhana Smith; son, Izeller Smith; sister, Caldonia Pack; and three brothers, Percy, Cleother and Julius Smith.
