Music festival scheduled for Saturday at park

985golive is ending the summer with a bang with the “North Shore Music Festival” this Saturday, July 29, at Cassidy Park. The gates will open at noon and the show will start at 2 p.m.

The festival will feature live performances by more than 85 artists, including Jumpoff Committee, Jim Jack, Problem (BOA), Lil Pokey, Young Sleep, Street Commission, Jolly and the Richtown Boys, Young Soulja, Teejaye, Teeman Da Truth, Nena B, and many more. The festival will be hosted by D Star and Young Carter, with deejays Ace Boogie, Sypho, GP, and Byron on the ones and twos.

Festivalgoers are advised to bring their tents, coolers and grills, because it is an all-day event. Tickets cost $10, with children 12 and under free. For vendors and tickets, contact 985-294-1958 or 985-222-786. The after-party will take place at the Red Zone Sports Bar and Grill.
