Two Pearl River residents were booked with various drug charges Thursday, after the Bogalusa Police Department got a call shortly after 8 a.m. that two people were sleeping in the alley behind Dirt Cheap, according to Maj. Percy Knight of the BPD.

“Officers arrived, woke up a male and a female that were on the ground sleeping,” said Knight, the public information officer for the BFD. “The suspects were identified as Gary Davis, 28, and Jennica Keebler, 26. On the ground near where Davis and Keebler were sleeping, an officer located a food bag that contained a zip-lock bag with mushrooms, a small amount of LSD, a spoon, and a digital scale used for weighing illegal narcotics.”

Both Davis and Keebler were arrested for possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics (mushrooms), possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics (LSD), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
