Rondy LaShad Vernon passed away July 22, 2017, at the Slidell Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1980, to Rondy Vernon Sr. and Rhea Brumfield in Bogalusa.

He is survived by six sons and six daughters; two brothers, Steven (Damarius) Vernon of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rondon Vernon of Franklinton; and two sisters, Summer (Michael) Weiler of Holly Ridge, N.C., and Danequia (Nikki) Burkhalter of Franklinton. He leaves of host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 1 p.m. at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1811 Desmare St. in Franklinton. The Rev. Mallery Callahan, pastor, will be officiating.
