Scott Bell

Scott Reagan Bell passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his residence in New Orleans at the age of 47.

He was born on Monday, Feb. 2, 1970, in Bogalusa, to Christine Applewhite Bell and the late Dallas Reagan Bell. He was a graduate of Hammond High School Class of 1987 and LSU Class of 1991 with a degree in economics.

Scott is survived by his mother, Christine Applewhite Bell; aunt and uncle, Ron and Carolyn Applewhite; and cousins, Mary Applewhite Pina and her husband Marco, Brad Applewhite, Eliska Pina, Pierce Applewhite, Vincent Pina, and Berkley Applewhite.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Reagan Bell; and grandparents, Virgil and Mackielee Applewhite and Clotil and Reagan Bell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, located at 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., in Hammond, on Thursday, July 27, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 28, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
