Betty Lynch was born on Jan. 20, 1946, to Roxie Mae Caston in Gloster, Miss. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 12, 2017. Betty was one of eight siblings.

Betty leaves to cherish her precious memories: her former husband, Wesley Lynch Sr.; three sons, Wesley Lynch Jr., Tyrone Lynch, and Errol Ray Lynch, all of New Orleans; one daughter, Angienelle Lynch of Chalmette; two daughters-in- law, Claudia Lynch and Barbara Lynch; two sisters, Delorus Caston of Slidell, and Connie Caston of New Orleans; three brothers, Levon Caston of Gloster, Walter Wilson Jr. and Eugene Caston, both of New Orleans; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Roxie Mae Caston; a brother, Harry Lee Caston; and a sister, Aileen Veals.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at Crain and Sons Chapel with Pastor William Lynch officiating. Interment will be held at Greenback Cemetery.
