Alberta “ToT” (Byrd) Martin, born March 5, 1934, a native of Bogalusa, passed away at Our Lady of Angels at the age of 83 and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by six daughters, Linda (Tom) Barnes, Patricia (Billy) Brumfield, Karen (Dr. Glyn) Hebert, Debbie Askew, Cathy (Carlos) Clark and Pam (Jim) Pichon; a son, Lindsay (Lisa) Martin; one sister, Willi B. Brock; a sister-in-law, Betty Joe Byrd; and also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay “Frenchie” Martin; and a daughter, Janice Martin Borden.

Visitation and services will be held on Monday, July 17, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Pete Underwood officiating the services. The interment will follow in the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery located on Spring Valley Road.
