Curtis Morris

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Bogalusa, for Mr. Curtis Morris, 69, of Varnado, who died Tuesday, June 27, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

Curtis Morris was born to the late O.C. and Lillie Morris on Sept. 20, 1947, in Bogalusa.

Curtis was a gardener and loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O.C. and Lillie Morris; wife, Annester P. Morris; son, Reginald Pack; three sisters, Ella Hall, Idella Roberts and Toni Mark; brother, Kirbly Morris; and brother-in-law, Jessie Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Talmadge (Tara) Manning, Kevin Pack, James Pack, Phillip Pack, Ray Pack, all of Varnado; a special friend, Frida Pack of Varnado; four sisters, Eva Morris and Claudette Johnson of Varnado, Evelyn Gray of Picayune, Miss. and Laura (Randy) King of Bogalusa; three brothers, Willie James Peters of Detroit, Mich., Stanley Morris of Varnado, and Douglas (Carolyn) Morris of Bogalusa; 20 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Interment will be in the Moses Cemetery in Varnado.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home of Picayune, Miss.
