Mrs. Roberta Taylor passed away at the age of 74 on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Tracy (Albert) Brumfield and Joyce Taylor, both of Franklinton; two sons, Edward (Jennifer) Taylor and Bobby (Angela) Taylor, both of Franklinton; one sister, Cynthia Brumfield of Tangipahoa; two brothers, Willie J. (Myrtis) Briggs of Mt. Hermon, and Randy Briggs of Pensacola, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband, Bobbie R. Taylor; a son, Barry W. Taylor; father, Amos Briggs; mother, Rosa Lee Briggs; and two brothers, Earl K. Briggs and Amos Briggs Jr.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 23, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 2 p.m. at Crystal Springs A.M.E. Church with Apostle Dr. Vanessa Robinson officiating. Interment will be at Crystal Springs Church Cemetery.
