Mr. Robert “Man” Dillon Jr. passed away at the age of 58 on Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Franklinton.

He was a great father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He loved talking and if he was telling you something and he knew or thought it was right, he would say, “Believe that!” Robert loved bringing a smile to peoples’ faces. He was relatable and loveable.

Robert leaves to mourn his death: a daughter, Georgia Dillon of Detroit, Mich., from his marriage to Dinna Foster Dillon; four sisters, Alyne Spikes, Alice Dillon, Martha Dillon and Debra Dillon, all of Franklinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Brumfield and Robert Dillon; and two sisters, Catherine Brumfield and Hynither Dyson.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 23, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by a family hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Mallory Callahan, pastor. Interment will be held at Sweet Rest Cemetery.
