Barbara Ann Kennedy, 73, passed away on June 18, 2017, at Hospice House of Slidell. She was a resident of Angie, and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Varnado.

She is survived by one son, Richard N. “Ricky” Kennedy of Angie; daughters, Tammy Green (Richard) of Jonesboro, Ark., and Deidre Cassanova (Scot) of Covington; one brother, Roger Baker of Picayune, Miss.; sisters, Lisa Grantham of Denham Springs, and Gwen Carroll of Bogalusa; a sister-in-law, Kitty Baker of Bogalusa; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is also survived by beloved, George Harvey of Angie; and daughters, Cathy Daudey and Sheila Harvey of Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson D. Kennedy; step-daughter, Janet Harvey; parents, Robert and Lillie Scruggs Baker Sr.; brother, Robert Baker Jr.; and sister, Pearl Fairburn.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Thursday June 22, from 1 p.m. until time for services at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow.
