Michael Ward McClendon passed away Thursday June 8, 2017, at the age of 34.

Michael is the son of the late Gregory McClendon, grandson of the late Walter McClendon, George and Nina Rumsey.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sharon McClendon; his son, Seth McClendon (Kandi Bankston), stepfather, Gary Rawls; by his brother, Joshua McClendon; his grandmother, Betty McClendon; and a nephew, Jackson Green. He is also survived by fiancée, Shanda Honaker and her son, Trever Honaker; aunts, Sherri Pittman (David), Linda Jamison (David), Penny Rainer (Charles), Karen Davis(Steve); and many cousins and family friends.

Michael served his country honorably in the Merchant Marines and was an avid outdoorsman whom loved fishing and hunting.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, June 14, in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, located at 75212 Lee Road in Covington. Friends may call after 5 p.m.; services will follow at 8 p.m.
