William Earl Wheat Jr., 75, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017, at his home in Bogalusa. He was born on Sept. 26, 1941.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Pat) Golden of Bogalusa; three sisters, Alice Lott, Linda Smith, and Betty Maxwell, all of Mississippi; two brothers, Joe Landro and Bill Moon, both of Mississippi; three grandchildren, Cassie Singletary of New Orleans, and Kali Golden and Ali Golden, both of Bogalusa; and three great-grandchildren, Curtis, Jayden, and Ava all of New Orleans.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Wheat and Velma Smith Wheat.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
