Michael Eugene Tannehill passed away on June 7, 2017, at PAM Specialty Hospital in Covington. He was born on May 20, 1950, in Bogalusa and was the fifth child of J. C. and Lanelle Tannehill.

Michael is survived by his mother, Lanelle Tannehill; his sisters, Patricia Marcomb and Linda Hansen; a brother, Gregory Tannehill; his nieces, Michele Marcombe and Jessica Tannehill; a nephew, Roger (Mikelyn) Marcomb; a great-nephew, Blake Marcomb; and a great-niece, Alaina Marcomb.

He is preceded in death by his father, J. C. Tannehill; brothers, Jerry Wayne Tannehill and Ronald David Tannehill; and a nephew, William Moss Siegelin.

Visitation will be Friday, June 9, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in the chapel. The Rev. Tommy Pittman will officiate and interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roger Marcomb, Blake Marcomb, E. J. Badeaux, Chad Mizell, Alex Mizell and Randy Bannister.

Michael proudly served in the U.S. Navy and we will miss his sweet and gentle spirit.
