The Krewe of Unity invites all Bogalusa families to join in its first free “Downtown Bogalusa Family Day,” entitled “A Night on the Town,” in the heart of Columbia Street from 6 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a foot race between the Bogalusa police and fire departments. After that, there will be a dance performance by AshKay Dance Company/Performing Arts, and DJ music provided by Brian McCree.

Throughout the evening, there will be free children’s activities. Jambalaya will be available for $3, drinks will be sold for $1, and raffle tickets will reportedly be available free of charge.

The Krewe invites everybody to break out their dancing shoes and to come out and celebrate “A Night on the Town” with family members and neighbors.
