Summer lunch program starts

The City of Bogalusa School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all eligible children without charge. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

  • Bogalusa High School — May 30 through June 20, breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., lunch, noon to 1 p.m.
  • Byrd Avenue Elementary School — June 5 through June 30, breakfast, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., lunch, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • St. Paul’s A.M.E. Church, 420 Church St., Bogalusa — June 5 through July 14, breakfast, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Acceptance and participating requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
