Pearlean Washington passed away April 17, 2017, at Lakeview Medical Center in Covington. She was born to the late Walter Sanders and Dollie Warren in Tylertown, Miss.

She is survived by her husband, Shelton Washington; her sons, Michael Anthony of Franklinton, Andrew Anthony Jr. of New Orleans, and Derrick Anthony of New Orleans; one daughter, Sandra Anthony Causey of Arlington, Texas; brothers, Otis Sanders of Alameda, Calif., Kenneth Sanders of Franklinton, Bernard Burton of Kenner; one godbrother, Charlie Ray Warren of Bogalusa; and sisters, Annie Sanders and Freddie Straughter, both of Franklinton. She leaves 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 29, at noon at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Causey, pastor, officiating.
