Dan Wade Simmons passed away April 10, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 15, 1960, to the late Willie L. and Mavis Simmons.

He is survived by daughter, Colleen Duncan; two grandchildren, Brantley and Karisma Duncan; two brothers, Willie Ray Simmons and Ricky (Amy) Simmons); two sisters, Dee Dee (Elmer) Simmons and Jamesie Stewart; nieces, Jennifer Mizell, Christal Morgan, Catie and Kati Simmons, and Vicki Simmons; and four nephews, Johnathan, Curtis and Robert Simmons and Douglas Jackson.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 years, Rose “Rusty” Simmons.

A memorial will be held Saturday, April 22, at First Baptist Church of Bogalusa at 2 p.m.
