Shanda Cherie Cothern, 25, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017, in Angie. She was born in Bogalusa on Dec. 10, 1991.

Shanda is survived by her son, Brayden Cothern of Angie; her parents, Craig and Angela Cothern of Angie; her brother, Dustin Cothern of Washington Parish; her sister, Amanda L. Cothern of Angie; her paternal grandfather, Billy Cothern of Bogalusa; her maternal great-grandmother, Esther Breland Allison; an aunt, Melissa White of Angie; her uncles, Mike (Joy) Cothern of Washington Parish and Bryan Cothern of Hammond; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Doyle and Frances Seal; her paternal grandmother, Charlotte Cothern; and her maternal great-grandfather, T.B. Breland.

Visitation was Sunday, April 9, at New Bethel Church in Angie, from 4 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Pastor Chris Allman officiating.
