Quincy Adams

Quincy Adams, 80, a resident of Angie, passed away on April 7, 2017, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was born in Washington Parish on Sept. 7, 1936.
Quincy is survived by his wife, Charlene S. Adams; a son, Tommy (Kellie) Adams; a daughter, Tammy Boone (Greg Slade); grandchildren, Jeremy Boone, Quincy Durwood “Bucky” Adams (Megan Passaro), Chase Boone (Amanda Johnson), Andrew Adams (Hailie) and Kayla Boone (Tyler Knight); and great-grandchildren, Levy Boone, Addyson Adams, Avery Boone and Aiden Thomas.
He is preceded by his parents, B.J. and Agnes Ard Adams; his brothers, Marvin Adams and John E. Adams; and a sister, Bonnie Mae Strahan.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 9, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home and continued Monday morning, April 10, at 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Elder Glenn Erwin and Bro. Larry Mizell officiated and interment followed at Reubin Adams Cemetery.
