R.C. Magee passed away April 2, 2017, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton. He was born to the late Juney Magee and Carrie Ellis Magee.

Mr. R.C. Magee was self-employed as a house painter.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Jessica Goss of Baton Rouge and Rownever Bell of New Orleans; and one sister, Jessie Lee Magee of Franklinton.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juney Magee; and mother, Carrie Ellis Magee.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8, at noon at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Johnny Causey, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery in Franklinton.
