Deborah Blackburn

Deborah Sue Holloway Blackburn, born Oct. 24, 1954, passed away March 30, 2017, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Ponchatoula.

She is survived by one son, Ronald Eric Blackburn of Ponchatoula; three daughters, all of Ponchatoula, Stacey Thompson, Haley Blackburn and Rikki Barnes; three brothers, Gary Holloway, Donald Holloway and Roger Holloway all of Bogalusa; three sisters, Dale Boler of Bogalusa, Kay Lott of Bogalusa, and De De Pusa of Madisonville; and one granddaughter, Ava Dell Rose Haas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer C. and Maude Lee Holloway; brothers, Wayne Holloway, Pete Holloway, Steve Holloway and Ricky Holloway; and sisters, Patsy Vigil, Gloria Jo Holloway, Jeannie Crews, Janice Tullos and Schranga Lawrence.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, located at 610 Ave. F in Bogalusa, on Sunday, April 2, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and continued Monday, April 3, from 9 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial followed at Wallace Cemetery.
