Chris Anthony Caves, 45, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at his residence. He was a resident of Bogalusa. He was born on Jan. 20, 1972.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Susie Laura Caves; his father, Roy Dale Caves; an uncle, Ollie Jack Dillon; his father-in-law, Michael Hemphill; and his brother-in-law, Aaron Hemphill.

He is survived by is wife, Tammy Hemphill Caves of Bogalusa; his daughter, Breanna Mikel Caves of Bogalusa; his son, Dalton Wayne Caves of Bogalusa; three step-children, Matthew Christopher Hemphill, Arianna Faith Enman, and Noah Tyler Hemphill, all of Bogalusa; his mother-in-law, Patricia Hemphill Benson (Phil) of Mobile, Ala.; three wonderful brothers, Whitney Aaron Holloman, Shane Everett Holloman, and Roy Caves; and his sister-in-law, Michelle Jenkins Holloman and children.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
